To our EA Band Parents and Families:  Mr. Rosco informed me this morning that the Band has been approved by the School Board to travel to the Wheeling Nailers hockey game on Friday, March 26, at 7:35 pm against the Kalamazoo Wings.  Students will again be admitted for free, and any non-musician going will be charged $8.50.  Food will be available for students and all others at the concession stands in the arena.  The Band will play during time-outs and the intermissions as we did last last year.  We will distribute a flyer for families asap.  For more information about the Nailers, go to www.wheelingnailers.com or to www.echl.com.  Thank you!  Matt

We've been having a nice turn-out at the meetings!  Thank you for coming!

Speak up about fundraisers that you think will work!  Remember, fundraisers are for the marching band expenses.   It takes all of us to raise funds for competitions, summer camp, and band staff!

Clearances for Volunteering

  •    All parents, instructors and student-instructors involved in any of the following areas working with band students will need all three clearances (state police, child abuse, and FBI), which they will need to obtain on their own:
  •  Chaperones

  •   Uniforms
  •   Music Trip
  •   Instructors
  •    Parents, instructors and student-instructors are not permitted to help or volunteer in these areas until proper clearances are submitted to Stacy Sutton, EABPA Secretary.
  •   Forms can be obtained from the EAHS Office, from Matt Polka, EABPA President, or online through the EA Band Website at www.eaband.org.
